Coo Thai Cuisine brings the bold, aromatic traditions of Southern Thailand to Chicago's Lakeview neighborhood — every dish made with care in a warm dining room on North Broadway.
A cuisine rooted in the south
Coconut milk, galangal, and kaffir lime leaves define our Southern Thai cooking. Taste the tradition in Khao Yum, an herbal rice salad with fresh lime, and Jumbo Lump Crab Curry, served in a brass pot with steamed rice, coconut-rich broth, fresh herbs, and gentle heat. Finish with Mango Sticky Rice: fresh mango, butterfly-pea-tinted rice, coconut sauce, and shredded coconut.
